Wee Reads: The Windy Day by Tony Sandoval

Ever since Finn was born, and even before then, we would read to him. We wanted to show him reading from an early age. Now he loves us to read the same books, over, and over, and over. But it is the sweetest thing, when he likes to pick out a book and climb into our laps.

The Windy DayThe Windy Day by Tony Sandoval

A young girl sets out on her own to fly her kite and encounters a pirate cloud full of goblins looking to cause trouble. She is rescued by a big black wolf who scare the goblins away and stays to help her fly her kite as high as possible...

Do you like this book?

No it was too weird!

What's your favorite part of the book?

When the giant wolf dog came in!

What do you think of the cover?

I like the kite and the words!

This book was really hard to read on the kindle. The formatting was off, so the pictures were funky and the words were funky. And it was all funky.

The story itself was also kind of weird. I understand it's about imagination and facing fears and being courageous and you're stronger than you seem. But the execution was weird.

The artwork was gorgeous though. From what I could tell. The colors were beautiful.
