Ash's week:
Honestly this week just kind of flew by, nothing of too much interest happened until Friday night. 

John and I went out because Finn was at his dad's, we went to a couple places and then decided we were hungry. The place we were going to go had a really long wait and we decided to go somewhere else. As soon as we left the parking lot we had the low tire pressure light come on and our PSI was dropping as we were driving. We went to the gas station and there was a huge nail in our tire. So John patched it up and then we went to dinner. It was quite the adventure if I do say so myself.

Other than that, we made mangonadas, tried a new salsa recipe, and I tried sushi! I do not like crab but I liked the salmon and the veggie one. 

Now it's Monday and I forgot to finish this so I'm finishing it, playing Animal Crossing and trying to get Finn to do his work all at once. I need caffeine!

Ash's week:
Well Finn started second grade this week! Of course everything is completely different than last year, with it being all remote learning. I feel like this Summer just flew by, with corona and everything it just went by in a blur. 
Anyway, it's definitely interesting remote learning. It's hard for him to focus with just the teacher and his friends on the screen, but I think we can do it. 
We also got Animal Crossing for him for his birthday (Well, my Grama did, but whatever) and I've played more than he has. Oops.

On Saturday John took a test to see if he can test out of his first year of school to get his Journeyman's license, so we're waiting to hear from them, hopefully soon. And then we took Finn fishing for the first time, with John's parents and two of our nieces. We also went to dinner with them and Finn got to try alligator for the first time. He loved it, he ate over half the plate by himself.
Sunday we went to the Halloween store, again. I planned out my Halloween outfit, do y'all wanna know? Or should I just leave it a surprise? Finn has had his picked out for weeks, he's going to be Sam from Trick R Treat. He saw him and loved him immediately and I'm pretty proud that's what he wants to dress as. After that we went to the splash pad in our downtown and then got pizza and ice cream. After that we watched a couple of movies and just relaxed. 
Over all it was a really good weekend that we got to spend a lot of time together. 

I'm almost done for the month with my Reading Rivalry (Look up the group on FB if you've never heard of it, it's a lot of fun and helped me pick out my books for the month) and in our team I've gotten the second highest amount of points, which is pretty cool to be honest.

Didn't get to watch much this week between school starting and us getting Animal Crossing.
