Wee Reads: The Little Ghost Who Lost Her Boo by Elaine Bickell

Ever since Finn was born, and even before then, we would read to him. We wanted to show him reading from an early age. Now he loves us to read the same books, over, and over, and over. But it is the sweetest thing, when he likes to pick out a book and climb into our laps.

The Little Ghost Who Lost Her Boo!The Little Ghost Who Lost Her Boo by Elaine Bickell

'I've lost my boo! I've lost my boo! Where has it gone? What will I do?' Little Ghost has lost her boo, but she is determined to get it back, so she heads out to look for it. On her night-time hunt she meets a number of her friends, Owl, Pigeon, Rooster and Cow, and asks each of them if they've heard her boo. None of them have but they are all very kind and offer Little Ghost their own sound instead. But none are as good as her own scary boo so she keeps on looking. In the end, it's the reader who finds it for her!

Do you like this book?

Yes, because of all the crazy sounds. And I wanted the little ghost to find her boo.

What's your favorite part of the book?

Mooooo! I like when the cow said moooo.
It makes me sad that the little ghost lost her boo, because she was scared. But then she found her boo and it was okay!

What do you think of the cover?

I like it! I like where it says BOO and the cute ghost!

This was such a cute book! It does seem like it's just a little bit under Finn's age level- maybe meant more for ages 1-4. But he still mostly enjoyed it. Especially all of the silly noises we were making.
The artwork was absolutely adorable, the ghost was adorable, the story was adorable. It was all so adorable, and we had a lot of fun reading it.
Highly suggest for anyone with younger kiddos.

I received a free digital copy of this book from the publisher via Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review.
