What made me pick this book up: 

I had read other E. Lockhart books and enjoyed them so I figured I'd check out this one.

What did I like about the cover: 

I really do not like the cover of this version. It's boring and just kinda meh to me. I do like this cover below much better. I feel like it really fits well with the book.

What made me read this book: 

This book was one Jenn had gotten on audio and I was trying to finish a bunch of audio books before switching phones. And like I said I had read E. Lockhart books before and enjoyed them so I thought I would enjoy this one as well.

What did I like the most: 

This is most definitely an unreliable narrator book. I really enjoy those types because I guess I like being brain f*cked. But really I like not having any idea what's going and all the twists and finally the AHA moment. 

The story is a unique one about a girl who's best friend commits suicide. We don't know who the girl really is, or anything about her past or anything. 

I liked the "spy" concept of this. Where she learned how to change her accent, throw people off her scent, etc. I always love reading books like that. 

The author did a great job in making me not know at all what was happening. I was so confused the entire time. 

What didn't I like: 

So with me not knowing what was happening I was completely confused. I felt lost most of the time, sometimes more than is enjoyable.

I did not like the characters. I found them shallow and annoying and kind of dumb for the most part. 

It was pretty slow at times and I just wish it was more fast paced at times. With a book like this I wanted to always feel on my toes but it was just sort of meh most of the time.

Would I read the rest of the series/more from this author?
I have read a few by her and I would definitely read more.

Just kind of meh most of the time. I didn't hate it, but I wouldn't read it again.

What made me pick this book up: 

I first read this years ago, who knows why I did then. Probably because of the title and, of course, spies.

What did I like about the cover: 

I don't care for the cover I have now, but I love the new ones. The original is so boring and I feel like the new ones match better.

What made me read this book: 

I wanted to start the series again, so I could actually finish it this time, and it fit for a task.

What did I like the most: 

I really liked reading about the spy stuff, and thinking about going to spy school. Cammie is a great character and so is Josh. Actually all the characters are pretty great. It was nice reading such an... innocent book. Not a lot of whining, drama, or thrills. And it was a nice break from the horror books I usually read. It was just wholesome.

What didn't I like: 

I wish it had more spy stuff. Even just some more missions. I read the first three books, and I think I remember there being more spy stuff about them. Maybe it gets more... spyish?

Would I read the rest of the series/more from this author?
I'll finish the whole series, eventually.
