Do you like this book?
Yes, it was really funny. I love any Mo Willems books and I like Bruce books too (By the same author) 

What's your favorite part of the book?
My favorite part was when the Tiger was scared of Worms! That's so silly because a tiger is bigger than worms. 

What do you think of the cover?
I like the cover a lot! I like that it has the tiger that's scared of worms, and that the word "worms" is made of worms! 

This was such a cute book! Of course anything with Mo Willems name is always amazing. This starts out with Tiger who is deathly scared of worms. So scared that he can't look at flowers (Because flowers have dirt and dirt has worms!), or eat an apple (Because worms love apples!) or even read a book that's about worms! 
He gets scared and runs off, and when he does a bunch of worms come up saying that they're scared of tigers. But the worms see all of the fun stuff (Flowers with dirt, an apple and a book) that tiger left, and they think he left it for them because he loves worms!
I found myself giggling while reading this book.

The loveable, pointy-horned creatures-show-off Spike, arty Spiral, and shy Stubby-discover a sunken pirate ship, and are using the parts to build their own homes. Now they are out of their depth, locked in a battle of wits with the munching, crunching villain.

Do you like this book?
Yeah because I love the narwhals and I love to build houses too.

What's your favorite part of the book?
When the shark attacked the houses and tried to eat the narwhals! But then he couldn't eat them.

What do you think of the cover?
I like the narwhals and the shark!


What a fun twist on a classic! I originally wanted to read this book because I love anything with narwhals, but after reading the synopsis I knew I needed it in my life.
I've always loved the story of the three little pigs, and how they learn to build things not for looks but for safety.
It's the same thing with this book. The first narwhal thinks his house is best, but then the shark tears it down. Then the second narwhal thinks her house is best but then the shark tears that down too. The third narwhal was left with what was the "ugliest" parts of the ship to build his house out of, but even with it being ugly it saved them.
The writing is fun and I love the writing and flow of it and the artwork is great too.

“This house may not be sparkly,” sang Spiral.
“It may not be great for parties,” continued Spike.
“But we’ll stay here in the dark, see?” sang Stubby.
“While we’re hiding from the shark-y!” they all chorused together.
Not far away, the dolphin family was also looking at Stubby’s house. Like Spike, they thought it was really odd.
“In fact,” said the youngest dolphin, “it’s the craziest house I’ve ever seen.”

Yeah because I like monsters. Sometimes I'm a scaredy monster too but then you help me not be scared anymore.

What's your favorite part of the book?
When he was building a pillow fort! I love building forts and I love sleeping with my stuffies like he does. They help me not be scared too.

What do you think of the cover?
I love it because I love the monster and the monster bear.

Scaredy Monster is a great book that shows it's okay to be scared, and even though we're scared we can't allow that to stop us from having fun. 
I feel like this is a really great book that kids of all ages can relate to. The artwork is bright and beautiful and the book is well written.
