Alice in Wonderland: A book that makes you think of your childhood.
Ash- Shadow Children by Margaret Peterson Haddix. This book really got me into reading.
Jenn: The first chapter book that I can rememer reading. I read it in one sitting and missed dinner to finish it. Now it seems like such a short book but in 6th grade it felt like a feat to finish and I beat it. Loved the book. It was the book that made me love thrillers and horrors. Caucus Race: A book with a race or competition you enjoyed.
Ash- The Selection by Kiera Cass. I actually really enjoyed this series, more than I thought I would.
Jenn: I was hopeful for The Gold Seer Trilogy by Rae Carson when I first saw Walk The Earth A Stranger- but was hesitant too. It was western in style... kind of sort of. I wasn't sure I would enjoy that. This is by far one of my favorite series...
Through the Looking Glass: An Alice in Wonderland Retelling you have read or your favorite Alice retelling.
Ash- Oh man.. I really like Alice retellings.. I think my favorites would be Alice in Zombieland by Nikolaus Cook and Splintered by A.G. Howard
Jenn: Hmmm I don't think I have read many Alice retellings. I have a bunch on my list to read. I really enjoyed Alice in Zombieland by Gena Showalter.... although it is a very very loose retelling... sadly I have not read more of the series. Another series I must restart and finish...
Knave of Hearts: A book about thieves
Ash- The Book Thief by Markus Zusak was the only one that came to mind
Jenn: Oh I loved Heist Society by Ally Carter... it was so m uch fun. Yet another series to restart and finish. oh boy. this book tag is killing me.
White Rabbit: A popular book you are late to the party for
Ash- Cinder by Marissa Meyer. Everyone kept talking about this book and I just couldn't get into it. But now I am!
Jenn: hmmm. I have since read all of this series.... however I was really late for the party on this one. I didn't start reading them until they all had been out a long while. and by the way.... loved them so much. Lux by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum: Your favorite sequel
Ash- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling. I had to look up the definition of "sequel" to make sure this counted.
Jenn: I am going to say Winter by Marissa Meyer. This book just flew way past my expectations. I mean the entire series was awesome... but this one was the perfect ending.
Pool of Tears: A book that makes you cry
Ash- The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. Typical, I know. But I could not think of any other book.
Jenn: Really just one only one..So many books make me cry! let me try to find one that had me bawling throughout.... Jordan Sonnenblicks books always make me cry. My favorite... Drums, Girls, and Dangerous Pie.
Caterpillar: A book in which the character reminds you of yourself
Ash- Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. The main character reminds me of me, simply because if a game like that existed I would never leave the house. Ever.
Mad Hatter: A book with a love story
Ash- Ella the Slayer by A.W. Exley
Jenn: Okay so I read this one just recently and I have ADD and Anxiety.... so this book both characters remind me of myself. Kat and Meg Conquer the World by Anna Priemaza

Jenn:Okay that narrows it down. I love the love story between Cress and Thorne in Cress by Marissa Meyer ... LOVE these two.
Ash- Wintergirls by Laurie Halse Anderson I absolutely loved this book. I have read it so many times. It deals with not only depression, but also eating disorders.

Jenn: Oh I love these and there are so so many! um so I am just gonna pick one.. Tiger's Curse by Colleen Houck. I am so excited about the 5th one finally coming out!
