What made me pick this book up:
I was at the comic store and this one definitely caught my eye. Mostly the cover. Also the title. So.
What did I like about the cover:
Creepy, I love the girl holding the scythe and I love how it's in the rural area.
What made me read this book:
Sounded super creepy. Zombies. Middle of nowhere. It sounded awesome.
What did I like the most:
I kind of explain all of that below. I love the story. But there really isn't much that I don't like if I'm being honest.
I had picked this up at the comic store when looking for new graphic novels to get into. I took this home and immediately devoured it. I love that it's a quick read, but it doesn't feel like it at the same time.
What didn't I like:
That there isn't more! Ha!
Would I read the rest of the series/more from this author?
Absolutely!
This artwork is stunning. It's creepy and very dark. I absolutely love it.
I don't really care much for the characters. The MC sister is my favorite, but with only reading two of these I'm not really attached to them yet.
The pace on this book is great. It's a constant go go go without making it feel like it's rushed. It's a quick read but you get completely immersed into the book.

This is a zombie book. But not like you would think. So of course it's great, it's really hard to find good unique zombie stories. They're either super over the top or hardly considered zombie.
This has become one of my absolute favorite series. I can't wait to read more.
