It got in us
After receiving an urgent SOS from a work detail on a distant planet, a skeleton crew is dispatched to perform a standard search-and-rescue mission.
Most are dead.
But when the crew arrives, they find an abandoned site, littered with rotten food, discarded weapons…and dead bodies.
Don't set foot here again.
As they try to piece together who—or what—could have decimated an entire operation, they discover that some things are best left buried—and some monsters are only too ready to awaken.

Mini Review:
When I first read this book I absolutely fell in love with it. I absolutely could not wait to read the second one. But because when the second one came out was when I lost Henry and everything... I never got around to reading the second one. So I had to re-read Contagion. And I must say I loved it just as much the second time. I completely forgot most of what happened (Literally 95% of what happened) it was like I never read it the first time.

Okay back to what I like about the book. Everything. This book was so full of twists and turns and thrills that I just didn't want to stop reading it. I never knew what was going to happen and that made it such a great read.
The characters were great and the writing was awesome. This book had me holding my breath and on the edge of my seat.

Immunity (Contagion, #2)Title: Immunity

Mini Review:
I definitely didn't like this one nearly as much as the first. It was still good, and I still really enjoyed it, but I felt like it was missing something from the first one. I finished this in one sitting though. It was still great, still full of thrills and had me on the edge of my seat. But I felt like this one was less space sci fi and more science lab scifi. I much prefer the outer space sci-fi. In fact Contagion and "The Loneliest Girl in the Universe" are what really made me love space books.

Overall I loved this series. I listened on audio and I definitely want to buy the physical books. Full of thrills that will have you holding your breath.

  1. Sounds like the perfect books to read right now, if you're the kind of person that wouldn't get freaked out. I did break out Plague, Inc. in late January/early February (it's a game for your phone) so I suppose I'm not.
