Killer Instinct (The Naturals, #2)
Killer Instinct (The Naturals #2) by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

Seventeen-year-old Cassie Hobbes has a gift for profiling people. Her talent has landed her a spot in an elite FBI program for teens with innate crime-solving abilities, and into some harrowing situations. After barely escaping a confrontation with an unbalanced killer obsessed with her mother’s murder, Cassie hopes she and the rest of the team can stick to solving cold cases from a distance.

But when victims of a brutal new serial killer start turning up, the Naturals are pulled into an active case that strikes too close to home: the killer is a perfect copycat of Dean’s incarcerated father—a man he’d do anything to forget. Forced deeper into a murderer’s psyche than ever before, will the Naturals be able to outsmart the enigmatic killer’s brutal mind games before this copycat twists them into his web for good?

With her trademark wit, brilliant plotting, and twists that no one will see coming, Jennifer Lynn Barnes will keep readers on the edge of their seats (and looking over their shoulders) as they race through the pages of this thrilling novel.

"Other People aren't worthy of empathy to the organized killer, because other people are less. To them, being average is the same as being disposable."

  2. Astray was pretty good. You've got some on your list I need to read as well!
    Check out my Top 10

  3. I forgot about Breakfast Served Anytime. I haven't heard much about it one way or the other, maybe that's why. The Gated series looks good too. I like books about cults, they freak me out!

Thanks for stopping by My TTT

  4. Snow Like Ashes definitely would have made my list, but I stuck to books that were released earlier in the year. I have read so many AMAZING things about it!

  5. Great picks and so many I missed out on too. The only one I managed to get to was The Treatment, which I thought was okay but didn't like as much as The Program. I got Of Metal and Wishes and Snow Like Ashes for Christmas, so I plan to read those very soon. I hope you find the time to get to these and that you love them when you do! :)

  6. I want to read Snow Like Ashes and maybe The Treatment too. I have to read The Program first.
