Giveaway Hop: Fool for Books

Giveaway is a paperback edition ofPrince of Fools by Philip Caveney- My Review

Sebastian Darke: Prince of FoolsPrince of Fools by Philip Caveney

The Lord of Laughter, The Monarch of Mirth—if only the bumbling 17-year-old Sebastian Darke could be a successful jester like his father. The problem is, Sebastian’s not funny. But after his father’s death, with no choice but to beg in the streets, the half-human, half-elf teen sets off with Max, his father’s slightly cynical Buffalope, to offer his services as a jester to King Septimus of Keladon. On the way, they meet Captain Cornelius Drummel, small in stature, but the fiercest of fighters. The three rescue the fair princess Kerin, who’s being held captive by brigands, and happily escort her home. If only Sebastian knew the kidnapping was engineered by the evil King Septimus!

  2. The cover totally reminds me of the Hunchback of Notre Dame, which I feel is appropriate since I've been singing a song from it this whole hop lol.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  6. I think it's so important to have good/interesting/creative cover art in order to draw interest in the book. This cover art is beautiful. I'd hang it on my wall!!! I hope the book is just as good inside the covers as out;)

  8. April Fools Day! April fools always seems to come and go without any practical jokes played. This year, however, my parents decided to play a prank. My 62 year-old parents! Well, they purchased a very realistic-looking fake tarantula and placed it on the toilet seat. When lifted the lid, I was in for a surprise. Instead of freaking out, like my parents hoped I would, I just cursed and then asked who's idea it was. I've never played a practical joke on April Fools. I need to get more creative and think of someone who would really appreciate it. Up until this year, I would've never thought my parents would be the practical joke-playing type! By the way, did anyone see Len Goodman from DWTS play a practical joke on gymnast, Aly Raisman and her partner, Mark. I was stunned and then laughed my ass off.
Thanks for the giveaway and I hope you had an uneventful April Fools Day!
