Q: What is your guilty pleasure as far as reading? Is it a genre, or is it a certain type of book? .
A: Cheesy books, the kind of humor where you question why you are laughing but can't help it. It never could be taken seriously but it doesn't matter. I like to laugh and sometimes the it can only be the cheesy.
What are your guilty pleasure?
Hahaha!! Yep!! They are always fun ones to read... Lol!!

Great pick! Some days I'm really in the mood for these. Sometimes you just need the cheese!
ReplyDeleteHa nice! I am not sure if I can think of a book that I read that was cheesy. But I know I've had some lol moments and eyerolls when things were like you said, cheesy!

I sometimes have the impression that I'm the only one who can't laugh a bit about books by e.g. Terry Pratchett? I'm wondering why?
ReplyDeleteI'm more into black humor. ;)

Great pick! I guess my guilty pleasure reads would be those fallen angel ones...any of them. They all hurt my head a bit 'cause they're so bad (read: full of the cheese) at times, but they're still fun when I'm in the mood for a quick, easy read. :P
ReplyDeleteI love cheesy books, but that aren't TOO cheesy... then it's just annoying. For example, I like the cheesiness before two characters get together, cause it's nice reading all that "letting you go, pulling you to me" thingie, but then they get together and they say I Love You so many times, it hurts my eyes, it's just ugh.. no.

Hopping through. It's nice to have a cheesy book. Something that will make you happy and you know what to expect.

My guilty pleasure is Terry Pratchett discworld books. They are so zaney and off the wall. They are always good for an awesome amount of laughter.
