Ever since Finn was born, and even before then, we would read to him. We wanted to show him reading from an early age. Now he loves us to read the same books, over, and over, and over. But it is the sweetest thing, when he likes to pick out a book and climb into our laps.
Have you ever heard of the Gallus gallus domesticus? It’s a big word for a chicken . . . I mean, a dinosaur. Yep, and this ordinary chicken―sorry, this dinosaur―knows everything about other dinosaurs. That’s what he’s about to prove to you.
Do you like this book?
Yeah! Because I love dinosaurs!
What's your favorite part of the book?
The chicken thinks he's a dinosaur! And I liked the t-rex and stegosaurus.
What do you think of the cover?
I like it because the chicken is scaring the dinosaur! I like t-rex!
Do you want me to read it again?
Yeah!
This is a really cute book about learning about dinosaurs. It teaches kids about how the chickens are descended from dinosaurs.
It has some really great facts about dinosaurs, and how much they weigh and what they eat. It doesn't have a whole lot of information but it does have some really great stuff.
It did have cute illustrations and the writing is well done. Either way it's a cute book about dinosaurs.
