Q: When you step out of your USUAL genre what do you like to read? Best books in that genre?

A: I guess I would just say adult since I read mainly YA.  My favorite books so far have been these..

God Save the Queen (The Immortal Empire, #1)Bloodsucking Fiends (A Love Story, #1)Changeless (Parasol Protectorate, #2)

  2. Same here...when I stray from YA, I usually turn to adult PNR. My fave series is The Night Huntress by Jeaniene Frost. LOVE Cat and Bones. That series is followed closely by Richelle Mead's Dark Swan series. Both are REALLY fun. I've also been meaning to read that Gail Carriger series you mentioned. I think I might even already own the first book. :)

  4. OOoh very nice!! Read all but Kate Locke's but it is in my TBR mountain!

I read anything paranormal myself! Books with the paranormal elements like these 2 steampunks, which I guess are something like paranormal steampunk!

  12. I forgot to add adult to my answer too. I typically read more YA, but I do read Adult novels once in a while. I would recommend Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn and 11/22/63 by Stephen King. Both were 5 star books for me.
