Wee Reads: Zombie in Love by Kelly DiPucchio

Ever since Finn was born, and even before then, we would read to him. We wanted to show him reading from an early age. Now he loves us to read the same books, over, and over, and over. But it is the sweetest thing, when he likes to pick out a book and climb into our laps.

Mortimer is looking for love. And he’s looking everywhere! He’s worked out at the gym (if only his arm wouldn’t keep falling off). He’s tried ballroom dancing lessons (but the ladies found him to be a bit stiff). He’s even been on stalemate.com. How’s a guy supposed to find a ghoul? When it seems all hope has died, could the girl of Mortimer’s dreams be just one horrifying shriek away?

Yeah! Because I love zombies! 

What's your favorite part of the book?
I like when he tried to give her his heart! And when he found his girl and they were having a picnic! They were eating a BRAIN!

What do you think of the cover?
It has a zombie! And a zombie dog! I love zombie dogs

Yeah!

Honestly, this is one of my all-time favorite children's books. 
First of all, it's about a zombie! And I love anything and everything zombie.
Second of all, it's about a zombie trying to find love! How cute is that!? Mortimer does everything he can to try to find someone to love him. 
It makes me feel so sad! But then he finds someone to love him and everything is so sweet and happy.

The artwork is just great and the story is so sweet. 

Going to be honest, Zombie in Love is my book, not Finn's.
