Ever since Finn was born, and even before then, we would read to him. We wanted to show him reading from an early age. Now he loves us to read the same books, over, and over, and over. But it is the sweetest thing, when he likes to pick out a book and climb into our laps.
Sammy loves Halloween: the candy, the pumpkins, the scares. So when he gets the chance to be in charge of the family’s next haunted house, he gets right to work—even though it’s only November. Suddenly Sammy’s inventions are scare-ifying his family day and night, even on Christmas and Easter! Sammy knows he’s on his way to making a spooktacular haunted house, but his family isn’t so sure they can take a full year of his tricks…

Sammy's Spooktacular Halloween is about a little boy named Sammy, who's family has a very scary haunted house ever Halloween. Well right after Halloween he decided he wants to be in charge of the next haunted house. So he plans EVERY DAY. Driving his family crazy.
I relate to this book in a way that every day should be Halloween.
Anyway! This book is absolutely adorable. The colors and artwork are so cute, and it was really really fun to read.
It's a great book that teaches you not to give up, and that you can do anything you put your mind to.
