Q: Today’s is the US’ Independence Day. Share your favorite book with a war in it, or an overthrow of the government.

A: I have more than just one favorite.... I love The Hunger Games and the entire story behind The Hunger Games.  I love Between Shades of Gray. It's not as much about the war but about the hope found during a war and hard times. Ready Player One is a anther good one about the little people taking on the power of the government. Star Cursed is another good one for me, and The Program....there are so many!  Those are just off the top of my head.

I love books about overthrowing a government. They fill me with pride, hope, and just all kinds of warm fuzzies. I really hope that if I ever need to be that brave to stand up for what I believe in, I won't hesitate and I will stand strong.

So what's your answer?

  1. Nice ones! Haven't read any of them though!
