Giveaway is a paperback edition of Numbers by Rachel Ward- My Review
Ever since she was child, Jem has kept a secret: Whenever she meets someone new, no matter who, as soon as she looks into their eyes, a number pops into her head. That number is a date: the date they will die. Burdened with such awful awareness, Jem avoids relationships. Until she meets Spider, another outsider, and takes a chance. The two plan a trip to the city. But while waiting to ride the Eye ferris wheel, Jem is terrified to see that all the other tourists in line flash the same number. Today's number. Today's date. Terrorists are going to attack London. Jem's world is about to explode!

ReplyDeleteI love the movie Titanic. It's epic and tragic and it's one of my favorites. I actually went and saw that movie in the theater four times one weekend. I was THAT obsessed. As far as epic love stories go, I love 'Outlander' by Diana Gabaldon. The heroine travels through time and meets the man of her dreams. How epic is that! And, he's a higher ranking Jacobite Highlander. Hot.
ReplyDeleteAs far as tragic love stories, I loved the book "Atonement" by Ian McEwan. It's totally tragic that the lovers are separated first by an unfound accusation, a war and finally death. It's so sad but so beautiful how much they did love one another.
Thanks for the giveaway!
