Ash's week

This last weekend was super busy. Saturday we had brunch with John's parents, and then went to a birthday party for one of Finn's friends, and then dropped him off at his dad's house. Sunday was the superbowl of course, and we had lots and lots of yummy food.

Other than that it was pretty uneventful. Me and Finn were sick on Monday and I had forgotten to do this poster thing for him for school. It was to celebrate his 100th day of school and it had to have 100 of one item on it. So I rushed that morning and had it to his school before school even started! I felt like super mom. He picked cereal to put on it, so it was 100 pieces of cereal glued to a piece of cardboard. Not as tedious as you would expect it to be.

Saturday we also won tickets to go on the Austin Steam Train. It was A LOT of fun.

Otherwise I finished books, I blogged, that's about it.

This week I watched...
Like Crazy Poster

Like Crazy
Release date:
January 27th, 2012
Starring:
Felicity Jones, Anton Yelchin, Jennifer Lawrence
What it's about:

A British college student falls for an American student, only to be separated from him when she's banned from the U.S. after overstaying her visa.

What I thought:
This was a pretty cute movie, however I didn't like the back and forth of the relationship. It did get pretty annoying. overall it was good though.

Frozen Poster
Frozen
Release date:
March 25th, 2010
Starring:
Emma Bell, Shawn Ashmore, Kevin Zegers
What it's about:
Three skiers stranded on a chairlift are forced to make life-or-death choices, which prove more perilous than staying put and freezing to death.

What I thought:
Pretty creepy. Typical horror movie really. I fast forwarded the part where they just kept talking. Those parts were boring.

Ash's Audio:
AloneEscape from Asylum (Asylum, #0.5)Asylum (Asylum, #1)SingSanctum (Asylum, #2)

  2. Ash, those pics of you and your husband and your little guy are so precious! :) It’s been years since I read If I Stay but I loved it. And I’m one of the few who actually liked the follow-up Where She Went even more. Can’t wait to see your thoughts on it!
