Weekly Wrap-Up
January 5th-11th

This week on our blog:

Jenn's week:

Nothing too exciting. Sunday we did go see the The Rise of the Skywalker. I really enjoyed it. It was much better than I thought it would be. I was disappointed in the previous one and didn't have high hopes for the last one... but it surprised me.
Other than that just our weekly game night, family game night, and game night with friends. Lots of games.  I did manage to read three books. That is a feat for me. Hard to believe I used to read 10 plus books in a week. Maybe one day I will again.

Ash's week:

Finn got back into school this week so everything is sort of returning back to normal after the holidays. I didn't really do much but focus on reading books and focusing on my crafts. I'm going to be a vendor at a BBQ cook off in March, so I'm making a whole bunch of things to sell there.

So far I've made a bunch of different types of keychains, decals, and bracelets. I want to make some shirts, at least as examples. Also want to make some more dreamcatchers. But I need more practice on those.

Here is some crafts I did this week:

I watched:
I didn't do so well with the watching a horror movie a day thing. I need a break sometimes and so I have been binge watching The Walking Dead again. I also got caught up on 911. I did watch a few horror movies though.

Amityville Horror: I actually really liked this one. The original one was too slow, but this one was good.
Friday the 13th: I didn't care for this one much. It was okay. I ended up not finishing the last like 15 minutes of it. I didn't really care to.
Paranormal Activity: It was kind of freaky but it wasn't terrifying like people made it seem like it was.
Paranormal Activity 2: Again it was kind of freaky but okay.
Paranormal Activity 3: This one was my least favorite so far. It was slow.

Desolation: I had a hard time focusing on this movie. Again it was a little slow. I think I might rewatch it at a time when I can really focus on it.

Terrifier: This one was so gory and gross and demented. I hate clowns. It freaked me out just a bit.

  2. My son loved Bunnicula when he was small! I bought the Out of Print t-shirt for him for his birthday a couple of years ago and it's one of his favorites. 🐇

My group of friends used to have game night every other Saturday, but it downgraded to once a month and then to every once in a while until we werent having game night anymore at all. 😞 I think we did it for seven years before that. The same thing happened with Friday Night Martini Girls. 🍸 Old(er) people don't seem to want to leave their homes anymore. 😛 My son and his friends have game night once a week, but I don't think they would like it if I crashed the party, ha ha. 😄

I hope you are all having a wonderful week! 🌞
