Expecting to lay low until she can figure out what else to do with her life, Molly finds herself in the arms of her high school sweetheart Ben, the boy who represents everything from the past she tried to leave behind.
Looking for an escape, what she finds is a way back to the girl she almost forgot existed and a future she never dreamed possible.

I decided to be on this tour after much debate with myself, I am trying to read more new adult to see if I like this genre as well as YA. So far, I like the genre. This book was a good addition to my new adult library. I enjoyed the healing and the romance of the book. It was a pretty quick read, easy to get through but with some tears, some smiles, and some giggles.
Molly was in law school, engaged, and have a pretty good life until she lost her fiancé. She just can't handle school, or the empty apartment, or Boston, so she moves back to her small home town in North Carolina. She runs into her ex boyfriend from high school and starts to heal as she start to have a simply physical relationship with her ex. Along the way she finds her relationship with her ex is not simply physical and a romance is born.
I liked the book. It was an emotional ride that wasn't too light or too deep. The book was very fast paced and I didn't feel it slowed down or got boring at any point. The writing was easy to follow, didn't have a lot of stuff going on, mainly diologue, but that doesn't so much bother me. I was able to enjoy the relationship as it progressed without it feeling forced.
I liked the main character. she was very sweet, a little mixed up, a little depressed, but I could see the strength in her. She is only 22 and has lost so much already. She needed to learn to live again, to love again, and I liked how she fell back to her first love. She was an honest character and I was able to feel her struggles.
I didn't really feel a strong connection to any other characters, but I did enjoy the other characters. Ben was a sweet guy, he never was able to get over Molly and he had no problem picking up where they left off. I liked his style and I liked the almost too sweet to be good guy change of pace. Most of the books I read, the guys are jerks at the beginning.
The storyline was a good one for me. I really havn't read many contemporary romances, especially not new adult, I felt this was a good book to start with. The book put me in a place I have not been before and I did enjoy healing and falling in love again as I read the book.
All in all it was a good fast read. I will pick up the next book to see what comes next. If you like new adult and like contemporary romance, you should give the book a try.
