Wee Reads: Crunch, Munch, Dinosaur Lunch by Paul Bright

Ever since Finn was born, and even before then, we would read to him. We wanted to show him reading from an early age. Now he loves us to read the same books, over, and over, and over. But it is the sweetest thing, when he likes to pick out a book and climb into our laps.

With his big, big mouth and big, big claws, Ty is the biggest and baddest of all the dinosaurs. But Ty has a tiny, tiny sister called Teri who loves her big brother very much. And when Ty goes hunting, his adoring, tiny sister becomes a big, big problem.

Do you like this book?
Yeah! I like the dinosaurs!

What's your favorite part of the book?
The nice part! When Ty loves and cuddles his sister Teri! And when the Spinosaurus comes out it scares me!

What do you think of the cover?
I like the big t-rex and the little dinosaur and the words!

Do you want me to read it again?
Yeah yeah yeah!

This is a really cute book about a T-rex who is big and bad and wants to go hunting to get his food. The problem is his little sister keeps getting in the way and loving on Ty, causing his food to get away.
Well, he yells at his little sister to go away and then a huge spinosaurus goes after her. Ty protects his sister and tells her how much he loves her.

It's a great book for big brothers (Which Finn will be, eventually, hopefully...) and how annoying little sisters can be, but you love them anyway.

I also love how they mention the Spinosaurus and how big he is because a lot of people forget that the Spinosaurus is bigger than the T-rex. I only know this because of how obsessed Finn is with dinosaurs.

This book was really fun because of the way the words flowed and the artwork was really adorable.
