Top Ten Tuesday: I've given up on you!

Top Ten is an original feature/weekly meme originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl that features a great bookish top ten every week.

This week's Top Ten Tuesday is book series we've given up on.

Ash-
I decided to put a twist on this because there is very few series I will never finish. So I'm going to do a list of 5 series I want to finish but I'm really not in a hurry to do so, and 5 series I never want to finish.

So let's start with ones I'm not in a hurry to finish.

1.) Mortal Instruments- I'm counting ALL of the books in the many many many shadow hunters series. I loved the first three Mortal Instruments. After that, I just felt meh. I want to find out what happens but I am most definitely NOT in a hurry.City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1)

2.) Hush Hush- I read the first one years ago and I need to read it again before I can finish the series, and just meh.Hush, Hush (Hush, Hush, #1)

3.) Need- I have to be in the mood for it. I love it but just not feeling it currently.
Need (Need, #1)

4.) Fallen- Same as Hush HushFallen (Fallen, #1)

5.) Modern Fairy Tale- I want to love this series. I read the first one and it was just kind of meh. But I just have the need to finish it out. But not any time soon.Tithe (Modern Faerie Tales, #1)

And the series I have zero desire to keep reading.

Ruby Red (Precious Stone Trilogy, #1)Born Wicked (The Cahill Witch Chronicles, #1)A Wrinkle in Time (Time Quintet, #1)Dark Eden (Dark Eden, #1)Carnival of Secrets (Untamed City, #1)

Jenn-
These are the series I read the first book and just decided the series wasn't for me.
Maplecroft (The Borden Dispatches, #1)Reawakened (Reawakened, #1)Waterfell (The Aquarathi, #1)Labyrinth Lost (Brooklyn Brujas, #1)Undead and Unwed (Undead, #1)The Belles (The Belles #1)Divergent (Divergent, #1)Ace of Shades (The Shadow Game, #1)Glass Houses (The Morganville Vampires, #1)Ender's Game (Ender's Saga, #1)

  1. I was not at all a fan of Fallen, I think by book three the series became just okay? It was better, but still not worth the work. :p Divergent was such a slog for me. Everyone kept telling me how amazing it was, and it just was not interesting at all. I definitely relate to quite a few on these lists! :p

  3. I'm sad to hear that about Ace of Shades. I kind of want to check it out still, but don't have a ton of high hopes.I love A Wrinkle in Time and even the second book, but can't see myself reading the rest of the books.

  4. I read the first two Need books and liked it but didn't like what they did to the MC! I did complete the Morganville Vampires series and loved it!

  5. I never read the Mortal Instruments series just because the books are so book and the series itself is too long..
I really liked the idea of Divergent but the 2nd book killed it. It was super boring but I'm still planning to finish the series (whenever that is, hahaha).
