Mila was never meant to learn the truth about her identity. She was a girl living with her mother in a small Minnesota town. She was supposed to forget her past—that she was built in a secret computer science lab and programmed to do things real people would never do.
Now she has no choice but to run—from the dangerous operatives who want her terminated because she knows too much and from a mysterious group that wants to capture her alive and unlock her advanced technology. However, what Mila’s becoming is beyond anyone’s imagination, including her own, and it just might save her life.
Mila 2.0 is Debra Driza’s bold debut and the first book in a Bourne Identity-style trilogy that combines heart-pounding action with a riveting exploration of what it really means to be human. Fans of I Am Number Four will love Mila for who she is and what she longs to be—and a cliffhanger ending will leave them breathlessly awaiting the sequel.
Trish Doller writes incredibly real teens, and this searing story of love, betrayal, and how not to lose your mind will resonate with readers who want their stories gritty and utterly true.

"Trish Doller writes strong, gutsy characters that you can't help caring for and Callie is no exception. Her journey is heartbreaking and powerful." —Melina Marchetta, Printz Award winning author of Jellicoe Road
But the show must go on and The Disenchantments weave through the Pacific Northwest, playing in small towns and dingy venues, while roadie- Colby struggles to deal with Bev's already-growing distance and the most important question of all: what's next?
Morris Award–finalist Nina LaCour draws together the beauty and influences of music and art to brilliantly capture a group of friends on the brink of the rest of their lives.
You've got a lot of great books this week. I've been wanting to read Touch and Bad Taste in Boys. I can't wait to read your reviews for them.

Great haul!! I got Mila 2.0 at RT Convention, and I've got the first Quarantine that I won in a contest awhile back, and still need to read, especially so I can read on to the sequel!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my STS
Great books! I love the cover for Tiger's Destiny. Mila 2.0 looks interesting, and so does Hostage Three! Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteHere are my newest additions.
Wow, lots of great books! The Book of Broken Hearts was cute. Poison Princess...meh, but I think that might have had something to do with the narrator. It was my first Kresley Cole book and everyone else seems to love her. Arclight I didn't listen to but read an ARC and it was ridiculously awesome...not at all what I was expecting. Hope you enjoy all your new reads!
