Wee Reads: Finn the Little Seal by Sandra Klaassen

Ever since Finn was born, and even before then, we would read to him. We wanted to show him reading from an early age. Now he loves us to read the same books, over, and over, and over. But it is the sweetest thing, when he likes to pick out a book and climb into our laps.

Finn the Little SealFinn the Little Seal by Sandra Klaassen

Finn the little grey seal is afraid of the big sea. Hes happy to stay by his rock pool. Then one day a wave sweeps Finn off the rocks! Will he finally overcome his fears and explore a new world?

Do you like this book?

Yeah! Because I'm a seal!

What's your favorite part of the book?

The hermit crabs! And when Finn jumped in the ocean! Whooo!

What do you think of the cover?

I like the pink! And the bird.

Not going to lie, I downloaded this because of the name. Finn absolutely loved it. He kept saying he's a seal!

The artwork is so soft and beautiful and it's a great story about getting over your fears, and facing them head on. And if you do, you might find that you actually love the thing you were scared of.

The wording was out of order and funky because it's on the kindle. But it was a good one. And Finn seemed to really enjoy it.
