Love. Obsession. Jealousy. Murder.

No one knows what happened to pop icon Eric Thorn. His Twitter account? Frozen. His cell phone? Cracked and bloody, buried in the snow.

Agoraphobic fangirl Tessa Hart knows the truth, but she's finally left her #EricThornObsessed days behind. She has no intention of ever touching her Twitter app again. But Snapchat... That's safer, right?

After months of living under the radar, Tessa emerges from hiding, forced to face the deadly consequences of her past. But in the interrogation room, answers only lead to more questions in the pulse-pounding conclusion to the Follow Me Back duology.

I was so super excited for this book to come out. I was even more excited when I received the ARC. SO yes I went to read it right away. The last book ended on such a cliffhanger. I needed this one asap. This was a great read. So much was explained and so much happened. I do feel it felt a little lacking from the first one but not really too much. I still loved this book and love this duology.
So this book picks up right where the last book ended. There is another police investigation. two parts to this book. What happened to Eric and Tessa and who was murdered, So told much like the first book, there is a police investigation into current events and storyline for the past events that explain the current events.

I really loved the first book and this book was no different. The writing style, the feel, the mystery, very much the same, but different story. More like a continuation. I think if you are going into this looking for a different story altogether, you will not be happy. It starts off right after the first one ends and there is no pause in the intensity.

I feel that these two books were both written with a slow burn and it was a hot slow burn. Never once did I want to put it down or get bored but the story was slowly introduced. It worked well for these two books. I find it hard to discover slow burns in YA books.

I really enjoy the way these stories are written, in the police investigation, questioning, and the storytelling. It's a really fun way to slowly reveal the entire story. I can say for sure that the dual timeline stories are my favorite, piece by piece coming together, I love to read these stories. This one was written just as flawlessly as the first and I am kind of sad to see it over.

The characters, Tessa and Eric were still a big part of this story. It was nice to see them again. Tessa is out more in the real world which was different. She wasn't stuck in her room the entire time. She seems to be facing her fears and getting a life. The only issue is that others won't leave her alone. I won't like there were a few times I found Tessa a little annoying in this book. I know she has issues with good reason, but I was tired of hearing about it. She seemed to be doing a lot better in some aspects but not so good in others. I just felt like she whined a little too much this time. I know so wrong of me to say that about a person with real mental issues. I did respect the issues. I guess I felt she contradicted herself at times. One moment she was strong and in control then in the next moment, she was the scared girl from the first book.

Eric was better in this book for me. He was so sweet and considerate all the time. I think he got the short end of the stick all the time. He loves Tessa though and that is easily seen. He doesn't like his famous life and doesn't know how to manage it well and this always causes concerns with the important people in his life.

There were new players in this story and old players. For sure trust no one. This book was amazing with the whodunnit aspect and I really didn't figure it out until it was revealed and I was like what the heck?! And that ending! OMG pretty intense ending! I really did love this book.

Just as good as the first book. I need more from this author!
