Review:
This was a great sequel. The last book ended with Grace being bit. I waited a while to find out what was going to happen with Grace and Daniel.

Grace’s family is torn apart. Jude is gone, Grace’s mom is fighting a depression, and Grace’s dad is always gone looking for Jude. This leaves Grace tying to hold it together while taking care of her mom, sister, and baby brother.

Once again Grace Strength and determination shines through. She finds a way to trudge through school, keeping her family together, and training with Daniel to keep the wolf at bay. Grace is still an outstanding character to me even though at times in this book, she seems to be a little too trusting. There were a couple times I wanted to knock some sense into her. I could see the trouble coming from miles away. Her need to trust the good in all people weighed in on some decisions that… well, were not the safest decisions.

At the beginning of the book, Grace and Daniel’s relationship seems to be going well, especially with everything Grace is going through. It’s nice and sweet, but doesn’t last. Daniel starts to pull away, Grace starts hanging out with the new bad boy in town, Talbot, and things start to crumble.

Talbot is an interesting character. I wanted to love him so much, he has looks, attitude, and grace, but something about him is off. He seems too eager to get know Grace. Talbot is a great addition to the story.

With the distance growing and the secrets building, will Grace and Daniel’s relationship last? It’s hard to see their relationship struggling, I couldn’t stop rooting for them. It seems that they never catch a break. And with that the book still ends with a Whoa… Wait… What? I need more. So… I am eagerly awaiting the next installment.
