Overall:
We really enjoyed this game. It's a simple and easy one for Finn, but still kept us entertained and not bored.

Learn-ability:
Super easy, just make sure to read the instructions fully. Ha.

Game-play:
Quite a bit of fun, especially for little ones. This says it's supposed to be for 12+, but I think that it might be too young for 12+ and Finn had absolutely no problem learning it, and playing it.

Length of play:
It says it takes 45-60 minutes, but I feel like it takes more like 30. We played it wrong the first time, so maybe it will take longer if we play correctly?

Artwork:
This is so cute! The zombies and the pawns are little kids. They look all chibi like. When you "kill" a zombie you don't actually kill it, you just send it to time out.

Theme:
I really enjoy zombie games. The dice rolling and tile placement was a lot of fun.

Fun:
I think it was mostly fun hearing Finn say "Go to timeout zombie!" But it was actually quite a bit of fun for being a kids game.

We also have the adult version of Zombies!!! I haven't played it in a long time but I must say that I think this version is more fun. It's not as intense for sure...which I guess it shouldn't be because it's for children. It was cute and it was light and it was fun.  One thing I did like about this game was the versatility. This game could be played cooperative or competitive. I think all kids games should have this option if possible. They could learn from both, and both are very fun.   I really enjoyed playing it with Finn. It seemed to be easy to learn and easy to teach to a 5 year old. The game says 8+, and I think that is just about right. A 5 year old could play this but with a bit of help, and 6 and 7 would get it and could play too. I think 6+ years and up would easily understand this game and enjoy it.

What Michael Thought:

We have the adult version of this game just called Zombies. This is definitely a more kid friendly version of the game with an easier way to make it to the end. I think this game can be played with 7 and up with not much help. But a 5 year old in Kindergarten could play it with help, because Finn was able to play and understand the concept. We all liked the game and the game was fun, without being hardcore like the adult version of this game.
