Wee Reads: Dormouse and His Seven Beds by Susanna Isern

Ever since Finn was born, and even before then, we would read to him. We wanted to show him reading from an early age. Now he loves us to read the same books, over, and over, and over. But it is the sweetest thing, when he likes to pick out a book and climb into our laps.

Dormouse and His Seven Beds by Susanna Isern

The animals in Green Forest keep waking up to the surprise of Little Dormouse sleeping in their houses. After they tell him to stop without asking why he does it, they'll have to rescue him from Wolf’s house.

Do you like this book?
Yeah I like the bunny! And then the mouse was sleeping on the deer's head and it was silly.

What's your favorite part of the book?
When he was just sleeping in all of the animals beds. Like the deer's head!

And his friends love him and let him sleep with them and then he loves his friend and let's him sleep with him because he's scared.

What do you think of the cover?
The mouse has an acorn! That's so silly!

Do you want me to read it again?
Yeah! Later!

This is a really cute book about a mouse who is scared to sleep by himself. So he sneaks into his friends beds in the middle of the night. His friends don't like him sneaking into their beds so they tell him to stop and sleep in his own bed. Well because the mouse is scared he sneaks into the bed of an animal that is very dangerous. His friends then rescue him and they find out why he was sneaking into their beds. It's a great book about learning to listen before jumping to conclusions and about friends being there for each other.
The artwork in this book is super adorable from what we saw.
We read this as an ARC on my kindle and hope to buy the book as well.
