Fia and Annie are as close as two sisters can be. They look out for each other. Protect each other. And most importantly, they keep each other's secrets, even the most dangerous ones: Annie is blind, but can see visions of the future; Fia was born with flawless intuition—her first impulse is always exactly right.

When the sisters are offered a place at an elite boarding school, Fia realizes that something is wrong . . . but she doesn't grasp just how wrong. The Keane Institute is no ordinary school, and Fia is soon used for everything from picking stocks to planting bombs. If she tries to refuse, they threaten her with Annie's life.
Now Fia's falling in love with a boy who has dark secrets of his own. And with his help, she's ready to fight back. They stole her past. They control her present. But she won't let them take her future.

What made me pick this book up:
The cover looked cool, and I needed a short in between book, and it was only 6 hours on audio.

What did I like about the cover:
I think it's beautiful, the colors are amazing and the blue eyes really pop.

What made me read this book:
It was a short book and the synopsis sounded interesting.

What did I like the most:
I did like reading about their abilities. I thought that was really interesting. I also really liked James, I'm not sure why, but he was instantly lovable.

What didn't I like:
Ooookay... So this book was difficult. It was confusing, the characters were whiny and kind of dumb. And I didn't really care if they died, or lived. I had zero emotion for either of them.
The awkward change of point of view, along with present and future was just awful.
And they kept repeating what they said "Annie, Annie, Annie, Annie, Annie...", and not just with names, but things, words, everything. It caused me so much anxiety and was just plain annoying in general.
I felt lost through half of the book.

Would I read the rest of the series/more from this author?
When I finished this I said yes, but the more I think about it and the more I write this review, I say no. I have zero desire to read more.

It was confusing as hell. I hated the characters and I think it was a bit of a waste of time.

A Little Snippet:
“In this room I have picked which gun was unloaded out of ten options. And then they pulled the trigger on me. I have picked stocks that went on to skyrocket. I have picked which pencil I would shove into Ms. Robertson’s ear until she kicked me out for thinking about it.” ― Kiersten WhiteMind Games
