The past few years have held more surprises than part-angel Clara Gardner could ever have anticipated. Yet from the dizzying highs of first love, to the agonizing low of losing someone close to her, the one thing she can no longer deny is that she was never meant to live a normal life.

Since discovering the special role she plays among the other angel-bloods, Clara has been determined to protect Tucker Avery from the evil that follows her . . . even if it means breaking both their hearts. Leaving town seems like the best option, so she’s headed back to California - and so is Christian Prescott, the irresistible boy from the vision that started her on this journey in the first place.

As Clara makes her way in a world that is frighteningly new, she discovers that the fallen angel who attacked her is watching her every move. And he’s not the only one. . . . With the battle against the Black Wings looming, Clara knows she must finally fulfill her destiny. But it won’t come without sacrifices and betrayal.

In the riveting finale of the Unearthly series, Clara must decide her fate once and for all.....

I am so happy I finally had the chance to read this book and finish out this series. It is bitter sweet for sure. I love love love this series. I will miss the characters so very much. I tried my best to read this book slowly, it was just really hard. I didn't want to put it down. I don't think that my review will ever be close to showing the love I feel for the last book of this series. A journey of emotions that will be with me for quite some time.

Clara, Christian, and Angela are off to college at Stanford while Jeffrey is missing and Tucker is back at home with his heart in a millions pieces. All three Angel bloods are having visions, Clara and Christians intertwine. Once at Stanford... things drastically change testing Clara to her limits. Her heart is still trying to mend over Tucker, she is attempting to make a decision about Christian, Angela is acting all kinds of weird and distancing herself from everyone, Jeffrey is still missing, Michael makes an appearance with an interesting offer, and Clara's vision is getting crazier. Oh and don't forget the looming Angel war. Clara must find a way to make sense of it all and do the right thing in the end.

WOW WOW WOW. This series is so amazing and the ending for sure rocked my socks off. I love everything from page one to page last. All my favorite characters are back, the story is intriguing, mysterious, action packed, and packed full of good stuff. Friendships, loyalty, love, family, destiny... it's all in there. I don't think I could have asked the series to end any better than it did. I was more than satisfied, I was pleased as pleased could be.

The story is rammed full of so much. One thing I just loved so much... well one out of the many... was the way everything came together like puzzle pieces from the very first book. I felt the pieces snap and I heard myself say ohhh... that makes sense. The author did such a wonderful job fitting it together and completing it. No loose ends, no second guessing, no it didn't make sense. It was just perfect. I can also say from the very beginning I didn't know where the story would take me and that was just the way I like my reads.

Not only did the story just fit together so perfectly, it was full of just good thoughts and good things. I love Clara's unwavering loyalty not just to her friends and family but to her purpose. She stood strong throughout all the book no matter what seemed to be falling apart around her. She didn't give up and she put her own needs and desires behind her purpose. Clara wasn't the only loyal angel blood, Christian and Angela go through some ups and downs, but they still end up doing the right thing in the end.

I love Clara. I think she is one one of my all time favorite characters. Her heart was always true and she cared so much about everyone around her. She is for sure one of the bravest characters I have come across in a very long time and for sure one of the very few characters I didn't yell at or want to slap at one point or another. She just rocks. Tucker, Christian, and Angela... even Samjeeza... all have their parts to play in this story and each have something wonderful to give. Take away just one character and the story just wouldn't have had the same effect for me. I just love them all!!!

I can't sing enough praise for this book. I knew it would rock since the first two did, but it really did go beyond my expectations. Even though I cried at saying goodbye, I was so happy with the ending and how it all wrapped up... I can let the characters go in peace. I will be visiting them again in the future though. Maybe next time on audio!

Awesome end to an awesome series. If you haven't tried this series yet... I really think you should. If you have read and enjoyed the first two... don't waste any more time. Get this book now. I don't think you will be disappointed.
