Senior year is over, and Lucy has the perfect way to celebrate: tonight, she's going to find Shadow, the mysterious graffiti artist whose work appears all over the city. He's out there somewhere—spraying color, spraying birds and blue sky on the night—and Lucy knows a guy who paints like Shadow is someone she could fall for. Really fall for. Instead, Lucy's stuck at a party with Ed, the guy she's managed to avoid since the most awkward date of her life. But when Ed tells her he knows where to find Shadow, they're suddenly on an all-night search around the city. And what Lucy can't see is the one thing that's right before her eyes.

Review:
Very excited over this one. Couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. I am still very excited over this one as I am still reeling from the read. This book will stay in my mind for a while.

When I first started this book, I was concerned if I would get into it. It started on a weak point for me and I am not sure why as I cannot pin point a reason. It didn’t take long for me to get over whatever it was. About 4-5 chapters in I was glued and read the book in one sitting.

The characters took a bit to get into for me only because they chapters flipped back in forth quickly. Once the two met the story really took off and I feel in love with Lucy and Ed. They are from opposite ends of life but share so much in their love of art. Lucy was harder for me to get a feel on. She seemed to obsessed with the Shadow and loves art, but other than her love for art, it was hard to see why she was so obsessed with Shadow. Shadow’s art seems amazing, and I would love to have some artwork to go with book. I did enjoy Ed’s character more than Lucy’s . His struggles felt real to me and I loved the way he expressed himself in his art. The relationship that Ed and Lucy build in one night amazed me. It starts off strained from an event in their past and grows to admiration, to friendship, to love (well the beginning of love). It gave me great joy to be a part of their lives for just a bit. The emotional in this book was so real for me. I laughed and I cried and at the end I longed for more.
