Review:
I recently decided to give more to young adult contemporary side of books. I have not read to many but really wanting to dive into it. I heard this one was a good one to start with. It so was not a disappointment. The book was really cute and had some real tear jerker moments along with some great laughs.

Anna’s parents decide to send her away to an American Boarding School in France at the beginning of her senior year. Most girls would love the chance to live in France for a year, not Anna. She has so much at home going for her. She has a quasi boyfriend she hopes to make a real boyfriend, she has a wonderful best friend, and she has a great part time job. She would love nothing more to finish out high school in her hometown. Her parents think that she needs some enriching.

Anna arrives a little earlier than most of the other students and on her first night of settling in meets a girl who soon introduces her to s a slew of new friends, one being a boy that she is very attracted too. The only problem he has a girlfriend and her new closest friend is totally into him.

Seasons pass in the school year and Anna finds herself falling harder for St. Clair and he seems to be flirting back. Soon she finds that she is St. Clair’s confident and closest friend, the only problem is she wants more and he still has a girlfriend. After much flirting and mixed signals will the two get together?

Anna is a wonderful character. She is smart, fun, and has a great head on her soldiers. Even though she starts off as a whiner about her move she finds soon finds out that things could be worse. She is loyal to her friends and does what she can to not step on any toes.

St. Clair seems like a great guy. I had a harder time falling for him since he seems to not want to make up his mind and stand up for himself. Once I discovered all the drama going on his life, some of his wishy washy begins to make sense. He is a cool cucumber and loves to have fun. He doesn’t want to take life serious and doesn’t want any of his friends to miss out on fun.
