Q: What is one book that you would be nervous to see a movie adaption of because you think the movie could never live up to the book?
A: This is a hard question for me. I am always hoping to have the books I like turned into movies. I am not a picky person when it comes to movies. I go to enjoy the movie with the mind set that the movie will never be as good as the book. It's just a visual for me and purely entertainment. I keep the book and the movie completely separate. So... that said I can't really choose a book, I know that every movie adaptation will not live up to the book for me. On a side note though, Wicked Lovely, my favorite book series, I think would be very hard to make a good movie out of.
Thats a good choice! Thanks for stopping by my blog, Im a new follower of yours :)

I think I am just going to have to adopt your way of thinking. Because the whole book-to-movie conversion just never goes well in my opinion.

I totally agree with you about books vs. movies. I'm never disappointed because I'll know I'll always be disappointed if I try to compare. They're two different things.
ReplyDeleteStopping by and following from the blog hop! I hope you'll take a look at my site Patch of Sky. (It's brand new, but it will be awesome soon!)

Thanks!
I find it really hard to not compare movies made from books to the books they were based off of. I just always...I'm critical I guess. I just always see what could have been done better or who could have played them better.
