Who would have guessed that four minutes could change everything?
Today should be one of the worst days of seventeen-year-old Hadley Sullivan's life. Having missed her flight, she's stuck at JFK airport and late to her father's second wedding, which is taking place in London and involves a soon-to-be stepmother Hadley's never even met. Then she meets the perfect boy in the airport's cramped waiting area. His name is Oliver, he's British, and he's sitting in her row.
A long night on the plane passes in the blink of an eye, and Hadley and Oliver lose track of each other in the airport chaos upon arrival. Can fate intervene to bring them together once more?
Quirks of timing play out in this romantic and cinematic novel about family connections, second chances, and first loves. Set over a twenty-four-hour-period, Hadley and Oliver's story will make you believe that true love finds you when you're least expecting it.

What made me pick this book up:
The cover really caught my eye. I love the black and white with the color pop. Plus who can resist checking out a book with a title like that?

What did I like about the cover:
It's adorable. Like I said, I love the black and white with the color pop. I think the cover matches the book really well.

What made me read this book:
I have really been into fluff reads recently. Something quick, sweet, and easy to read.

And this one really caught my eye, especially the first line of the synopsis. "Who would have guessed that four minutes could change everything?"

What did I like the most:
I loved the idea of the book first of all. Meeting a stranger on a plane and falling in love. Especially if they live in the same city. If they don't live in the same city... well that sucks lol.

The characters are well written, I love Oliver. He was witty and funny and British! What more could you want? But he was also flirty while being sweet and respectful.
Hadley was a bit annoying at times, I felt she was a bit whiny, but I think she kind of has the right to be. Once she realizes she was wrong she gets better.

The writing is well done, it made me feel what she was feeling and really drew me into the story. I couldn't stop listening to this book.

The humor in it was great, it was definitely the awkward kind of humor that I love, and have. It felt sweet and innocent instead of being a dirty kind of flirting.

I ended up rating this a 4 because it was a really wholesome read. It made me feel happy and warm and bubbly inside.

What didn't I like:
I don't know that there is anything I didn't like per say. I didn't like how unrealistic some parts were, especially at the end. But then again, it is a book. So of course it's never going to be 100% realistic.

Other than that, like I said, Hadley was a bit annoying at times and it made me want to roll my eyes.

But that's nothing compared to how great the book is.

Would I read the rest of the series/more from this author?
I have already started looking into more of her books!

This was a really cute and sweet read. It was quick but still had a lot to it.
